Ideal for an extended stay or a single night

This 15 m2 spacious room on the first floor is located in the house's east-south corner. It is kept up with a large wardrobe inherited from my husband's ancestors, as well as a king-size polished brass bed and a neo-baroque Venetian mirror on the wall. You can see a Persian wool carpet that belonged to my grandmother, who was living in Budapest.

The remainder of the furniture we have bought is classical in style. We enjoy finding used and unwanted artefacts with history and re-displaying them to give them new meaning; I believe this helps to create and maintain a warm, familiar atmosphere.

My figurative paintings were displayed on the walls. They might give the ambient a modern twist. I work as a professional artist. I am interested in the identification and what makes something or someone distinct and identifiable, both for oneself and others.

The window overlooks our little forest's front garden. The room received early morning sunlight through it. A rather pleasant way to begin the day. Even without air conditioning, it is still a pleasant temperature on a hot summer night.

Your bath will be shared with the rest of the family.
